While most commercial operations promote a rushed 3-day course, usually to reduce costs, we at Deluxe Diving believe a proper Open Water Course should take at least 4 days. This way we will be able to dedicate the necessary time to training you into a safe and confident diver, which also means a lot more fun when you explore the underwater world!
We can conduct the knowledge development and pool training sessions in the comfort of your private pool villa or at our facilities in Phuket. Then instead of going on a crowded dive boat to complete the open water training dives you will spend 2 days on a Private Yacht Charter, either as day trips or overnight.
All our Deluxe Diving Phuket Courses are PRIVATE just for you and your family/group, you will not be sharing your instructor and boat with other random students/divers.
COURSE STRUCTURE
The PADI Open Water Diver course by Deluxe Diving in Phuket consists of three main phases:
Knowledge Development (theory) to understand the basic principles of scuba diving
Confined Water Dives (swimming pool) to learn the basic scuba skills
Open Water Dives (at least 4) to use your skills and explore the underwater wonders
Course duration: 4 days minimum
Content: 5 academic modules, 4 quizzes, final test, confined water training sessions and at least 4 open water dives (the more, the better!)
Maximum depth: 18 meters/60 feet.
Prerequisites: 10+ years old and be able to swim. No previous diving experience necessary.

COURSE SCHEDULE
- Meet your Deluxe Diving Instructor at your Phuket villa or at the swimming pool/classroom facility for course registration and paperwork signing (medical statement, standard safe diving practices statement of understanding, liability release and assumption of risk agreement).
- Handing of learning material (book, dive table and logbook)
- Course introduction
- Knowledge development (session 1, 2 and 3) with video and lecture by your instructor

- Meet your Deluxe Diving Instructor at the swimming pool/classroom facility or at your Villa
- Knowledge development (session 4 and 5) with video and lecture by your instructor
- Confined Water Training in the pool
Swimming Pool facilities:
- Three different depths 1 meter, 1,70 meter and 3 meters
- Shower with soap and shampoo, toilette, small bar and possibility to order food.
